Dear ladies and gentlemen!
We wish you a happy New Year!

In the year 2009 the World Public Forum “Dialogue of Civilizations” has traditionally developed its activities as one of the leading intercivilizational dialogue institutions and as an international network of world’s top public and educational organizations as well.

Together with our partners in the past year we have implemented conferences in Czech Republic, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. The World Public Forum International Coordinating Committee held its sessions in February and September at our European Headquarters in Austria. For the first time the World Public Forum convened the Educational Youth School in Armenia in August 2009. And traditionally the Seventh Session of the Rhodes Forum was held in Greece in October. We have worked and continue to work with the world’s top experts in dialogue fields of sciences and knowledge. The Possible Futures Research Group work is in progress, the edition of the “Rethinking Russia” book is being prepared in close collaboration with Carleton University. We have published various studies in the past year and the Russian edition of the “In Search of the Good Life” by Fred Dallmayer is among the most recent of them.

The World Public Forum “Dialogue of Civilizations” network organizations developed and continue to develop their work all over the world. We are glad that the ideas of the dialogue of civilizations are widely implemented in your activities and call everybody for closer cooperation and wish to involve in World Public Forum activities more new participants, organizations and institutions.

We are grateful to all our participants, friends and guests who actively join the work of the World Public Forum. Together we definitely will make world a better place to moderate and fulfill an open and fruitful dialogue for the sake of all civilizations. We wish you health, prosperity and new challenging events!
Happy New Year!
