On Wednesday, June 3 a delegation of religious, political and NGO representatives from Indonesia visited the Moscow WPF «Dialogue of Civilizations» headquarters.
The WPF General Secretary Oleg Atkov, Executive Director Vladimir Kulikov, Director of the Vienna headquarters Diana Orlova, Head of the WPF PR Department Alexey Fokin and Vice-President of the St. Andrew The First-Called Foundation Mikhail Yakushev attended the meeting.
The Indonesian delegation was presented by Deputy Chief of Mission Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Moscow A. Agus Sriyono, Director General for Information and Public Diplomacy of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Andri Hadi, Minister Councellor Berlian Napitupulu and Deputy Secretary of the Vice-President of Indonesia on social issues Azjumardi Azra.
The representatives from both parts have had a very friendly and sufficient dialogue. The main theme of discussions was the necessity of development of interfaith dialogue all around the world and strengthening of the intercivilizational social relations. The Indonesian visitors have also presented the Bali Democracy Forum Initiative and reported about the activities of the Institute for peace and democracy.
