Europe must bring back border guards to fight illegal immigration, says Sarkozy's party chief.

The head of French President Nicolas Sarkozy's party says Europe should bring back border guards to fight illegal immigration. Xavier Bertrand, chief of the governing conservative party UMP, said: 'better regulation is indispensable, on the European level, where we must put back coast guards and border guards.'

On August 6 the Hiroshima Day is commemorated to remember the people who passed away due to the first nuclear bomb.

On Monday, August 6, 1945, at 8:15 AM, the nuclear bomb 'Little Boy' was dropped on Hiroshima by an American B-29 bomber, the Enola Gay, directly killing an estimated 80,000 people. By the end of the year, injury and radiation brought total casualties to 90,000-140,000. Approximately 69% of the city's buildings were completely destroyed, and about 7% severely damaged.

A meeting of Russian Public Foundations “Dialogue of Civilizations” and Center of National Glory representatives with China Soong Ching Ling Foundation Secretary-General Li Ning was held on July 12, 2010 in Beijing. Possible joint activities aimed at development of humanitarian cooperation among public organizations of Russia and China were discussed during the meeting.

The Eighth Session of the World Public Forum “Dialogue of Civilizations” will be held on October 7 – 11, 2010 on the Island of Rhodes (Greece). The Forum will consider the issues of the constructive projects aimed at creating institutions of public control and correction of the vectors chosen for post-crisis world development, as well as interests and values of cooperation underlying the projects proposed.

BEIJING, July 12 (Xinhua). – The Chinese Foundation of International Research, together with the World Pubic Forum "Dialogue of Civilization," will hold an international conference on the "Dialogue of Civilizations and a Harmonious World" in Beijing on July 12.

The conference is aimed to enhance the mutual understanding between China and Russia, and peoples in the world, and discuss important issues in political, economic and cultural fields, in the current world, and promote the world peace, harmony and development.
